TITANIUM RING

Titanium is incredibly hard, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion.  Harder than any natural metal in the world with three times the strength of steel and much stronger than gold, silver and platinum.  Yet, titanium is very light, usually weighting 1/3 the weight of gold.  Traditionally reserved for the engineering and aerospace industries.

TUNGSTEN RINGS

Tungsten Carbide; molecular formula: WC There is no Cobalt in our products. We use Tungsten Carbide 857.

It is made of : 85.7% of Tungsten Carbide, 9.5% of Nickel, 1.8% of Tantalum, 1.5% of Titanium, 1% of Niobium and 0.3% of Chromium.

Process of tungsten rings:

Tungsten with carbon and other elements are ground into a powder and then compressed with high pressure dies to form a ring blank. The blank is then fired in an oxygen free furnace at astounding temperatures. This process called sintering creates the hardest metal used for making jewelry. The ring is then cut and shaped using diamond tools with approximately 50 steps required for completion. This fabrication process is in many ways comparable to cutting and shaping gemstones.

The color of tungsten carbide is a dark gray color(very similar to titanium and stainless steel).
Technical Information about Tungsten Carbide WC Rings:
* Tungsten carbide rings provide the best scratch resistance available on the planet.
* Tungsten is about 10 times harder than 18K Gold, 5 times harder than tool steel, and 4 times harder than titanium.
* Tungsten measures between 8 and 9 on the Mohs scale. (Diamonds are a 10 - the highest.)
* Tungsten carbide rings have been referred to as "Permanently Polished Rings".
* Tungsten carbide rings will NOT deform.
* In the event of an emergency, a ring can be easily removed by anybody.

Tungsten is the only metal that can be permanently polished. The polish and finish will last as long as your love for one another… Many people also enjoy the heavy weight of a tungsten carbide ring. The enduring polish of a tungsten ring together with the solid weight, speak of commitment, security and an everlasting bond.

Please remember, due to ring's strength, return for resize is not possible.  Please know your exact ring size before ordering.  Our rings are non-refundable, and non-resizable.

CERAMIC RINGS

Like pottery which has long been used in the human history, ceramics refer to clay which has gone through high-temperature ,heat-treatment. Among them, high density ceramics which are processed to have high quality are called fine ceramics. The process of making fine ceramics requires highly sophisticated technology that measures its contraction degree prior to the process and conducts it according to the measurement. Zirconia Ceramics are the supreme ceramics among the fine ceramics, which contain high-purity zirconia and have the same degree of substance as that of natural gemstone through applying the crystallizing technology, which is why it is called re-crystallized gemstone.

It has a bright glittering and hard to get scarred on the surface.

•  Made from the super high tech, metal-ceramic hybrid, Zirconia.

•  Extremely scratch resistant.

•  Has no surface coating to scratch off, (is black all the way through).

•  Chemically inert and hypoallergenic.

•  Zirconia is the name commonly given to Zirconium Oxide.

•  It is transformed into a high tech ceramic at extremely high temperatures.

•  To stabilise it's crystalline structure as it cools, Yttrium Oxide is added.

•  Used for hip replacements, surgical blades, high temperature aerospace applications and F1 brake discs.

Ceramic ring is made by pure zirconium oxide ,yttrium oxide as binder
